Website Enhancement for Nikkita Palmer Designs

The goal was to enhance the website’s functionality, improve the user experience, and create a system that would better serve both the business and its clients.

Challenge.

Nikkita Palmer Designs had an existing website, but it wasn’t fully optimised to showcase their unique event decor hire offerings.

The site lacked strong SEO foundations, clear and compelling copy, and the ability to streamline customer interactions. Additionally, the manual process of managing rental inventory made it challenging for clients to browse and enquire about available pieces efficiently.

The goal was to enhance the website’s functionality, improve the user experience, and create a system that would better serve both the business and its clients.

Website review & assessment.

We conducted an in-depth audit of the existing website to identify areas for improvement in terms of design, navigation, content clarity, and conversion opportunities.

We assessed the site’s user journey, ensuring that potential clients could easily browse the inventory, understand the services, and submit enquiries without friction.

Our review also examined technical aspects such as mobile responsiveness, loading speed, and overall usability.

SEO research & strategy.

We carried out extensive keyword research to identify search terms that potential clients were using to find event decor hire services.

By implementing on-page SEO best practices including optimising headings, metadata, and image descriptions we ensured the website had a stronger chance of ranking on search engines.

We also developed an SEO content strategy to improve organic reach, including blog topics and optimised service descriptions.

Copywriting & content.

We rewrote key pages to better reflect Nikkita Palmer Designs’ updated brand voice, ensuring that the copy was clear, engaging, and persuasive.

The new content focused on storytelling, helping potential clients visualise how Nikkita Palmer Designs could bring their events to life.

Calls-to-action (CTAs) were strategically placed throughout the site to encourage enquiries, wishlist creation, and contact form submissions.

Website update.

We redesigned the website within Squarespace, leveraging its clean and intuitive design capabilities while maintaining brand consistency.

The new layout improved the user journey, making it easier for visitors to browse collections, view past projects, and submit enquiries.

We focused on a mobile-first design approach to ensure a seamless experience across all devices.

RMS integration.

To streamline inventory management, we integrated the website with the rental management system RW Elephant.

This allowed us to implement a wishlist function, enabling clients to browse and select their favourite pieces, then submit their wishlist for a customised quote helping to streamline the booking and enquiry process.

The integration ensured that the website served as both an inspiration hub and a functional tool for clients with the aim of increasing conversions.
